About me

Throughout everything I have built, from Weedsies to the companies I am building now, I have sat in almost every seat a business has. That is why I can walk into yours, see where the time and the money go, and build the thing that fixes it.

I worked while I studied, taught myself to code, and lost my first business in the 2008 recession.

From 2013 to March 2021 I was Vice President of Retail Operations at a multi-location retail company. I ran accounts receivable, payroll, customer service and a team of 40. I built an online training platform that cut onboarding from three months at ten hours a day to one month at four hours a day, and operators from around the country came to see how it worked.

In 2020, while still in that role, I launched Weedsies, a cannabis and CBD technology company. In March 2021 I left the role to run Weedsies full time.

Weedsies grew into an online marketplace, a licensed fleet of mobile retail units across Florida and a fifty-fifty vending joint venture with a Nasdaq-listed company, begun in 2022 and announced in February 2023.

The launch of the Weedsies Mobile app was announced through Nasdaq in October 2022.

Hempacco began trading on Nasdaq as HPCO on 30 August 2022. I helped bring that listing about.

I created and launched products with Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross and Tommy Chong. Business Elite Awards named me to its 40 Under 40, and TIME interviewed me about the business.

In June 2023 a Miami ordinance banned sales from a truck or any moving vehicle, and other cities followed.

An ordinance ended that business in a month. It cost me most of what I had built, and it taught me more than the growth did: how a company actually makes and loses money, where the time goes, which systems hold under pressure and which only look like they do.

I am using those lessons twice over: rebuilding and building new companies of my own, and sitting with other owners in the middle of the same problems. That is the work I do now.

How it works

  1. 1

    A call

We talk through how your business runs, where the time and money go, and what you want more of. If technology isn't the answer, I'll tell you.

  2. 2

    A build

I design and build the system around your business. You see working pieces as I go, not a slide deck at the end.

  3. 3

    A launch

It goes live and your team learns to use it. Then we measure what it brings back.
